Oh Yeah

Morton) If anyone gets any use out of this Ani tab, e-mail me and let me know. I might be able to come up with some more-- particularly "If he tries anything" which is similar to this song. But I won't bother posting it if there's no demand. Oh Yeah -- Ani Difranco ------- ------------ Standard tuning, capo 3rd fret -=> Disclaimer: All this is approximate. Ani goes at the guitar with all five electrical-taped-on-lee-press-on-nailed fingers in a way I can't hope to emulate. The melody line IS accurate, but the fill-in picking is quite a bit more meek than the way she plays it. In the chorus, I'll bet my left big toe that the Em is correct, and the G thing sounds pretty good, but the Am is definitely a bit off when played along with the disk, although it works well to the ear if you play the progression by yourself. The main intro and verse riff is framed around a c(9) chord: 032033 | Section 1 | Section 2 | -----2-----2------|-2-----2------| -------2-----2----|---2-------2--| ---------0--------|-----2--------| ---------------0~2|---------0----| ---3--------------|3-------------| ------------------|--------------| Intro-- Play section one and section two consecutively a couple times, then play just section two a couple times. For verses play section 1, then 2, and repeat. The chorus is: Em G* Am 'Cause I like you but I know you don't know it. Em G* Am I like you so much, I talk to everyone but you keep repeating that progression until the end of the chorus, then back to the verse pattern.
